I am starting this so that I can share my trip to Shipshewana, Indiana with all my quilting friends.
Linda Frihart is taking me to Shipshe to my very first Dear Jane retreat. I understand it is an informal retreat. We work on what we want, but we are all Dear Jane fans. I will probably take some DJ blocks to work on. And maybe my Calico Garden 9-patch blocks. I've got a lot of them to make and they don't take much concentration.
I understand that there is a quilt shop near the hotel where we are staying. I also understand that pie plays an important role in this retreat. I will take my camera and hopefully I will be able to upload pictures or our trip. That means I have to remember to take my camera book with me. And the cord that connects my camera to my computer.
I hope we have room in the car. And wi-fi at the hotel. Better check on that.
We leave Pittsburg on April 8th and we return on the 14th. I can't wait.
This will be a diary of my trip.
